I love peonies. Big bold flowers that smell delicious and look marvelous. When Dave and I lived in Toronto, we had a peony bush that flowered twice in the summer – once early Spring, once closer to Fall.

As I look out my window today, the sky is blue, the sun is shining, and some bird who must live on my roof is busy building something. After a few cooler days with gray skies, I welcome this burst of Summer!

COVID Update: April 21, 2022
Out of an abundance of caution, and considering the current increase in COVID-19 cases and resultant hospitalizations in Alberta, we have determined it is prudent for us to continue masking during worship services.

The Summer months were a quieter time at McDougall while people enjoyed the relaxed COVID restrictions. I was on holidays and study leave through July 11th, and then again for a few days at the end of August.
