2023 - Ministry and Personnel April– August, 2023

Once again, this period has been busy.  A new contract was written up for Tanya Wan Lim for September – December.  After discussions with the choir and Leadership Counsel, a contract was written up for Justin Macosky as our Choral Music Leader for September – December, 2023.  M & P have been keeping in the loop about possible cooperation between other churches.  We also tried to coordinate all the vacations, sick leaves and study leaves.  We also finished dealing with the changes to Rev. Joanne’s call and changes to her years of experience that came to light in the call change process.  Rev. Danah Cox was on medical leave to have his knee replaced and we would like to thank Rev. Joanne Anquist and Rev. Bill Weaver (Ogden) for helping with his coverage.  

Harpal Chahal, after being with us since April, 2004, will be retiring on September 1, 2023.  I have been helping Harpal deal with the paperwork, plus I have been involved with finding a replacement for him.  Thanks to Joanne Pritchard, John Naylor and Barrie Clayton for their help on the search committee.  Harpal will continue to be one of our “on call” people.   Jerimiah Laquette is our new part time Caretaker/ Handyman.
