Dick Fox

FOX , Richard (Dick) Richard (Dick) Fox passed away August 5, 2009 at the age of 73 years. Richard was born and raised in Calgary. He attended the University of Alberta and graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering. He spent most of his career working in consulting firms specializing in land development. Besides his wife Betty, Richard is survived by his children Diane Fox (Glen Brown), Debra Sinclair of Vancouver, and grandchildren Steven, Sherilyn and David Sinclair; his sister Elaine Fox; brothers-in-law Harold Greenfield of High River and Robert Lee of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; and several nieces and nephews. Richard was predeceased by his parents Peter and Vera and his sister Eleanor Lee. Richard enjoyed golfing and curling and was a long-time member of the Elks Golf Club and the Calgary Curling Club. He was known for his great sense of humor and was always the life of a party. The family is grateful for the loving care he received from the staff at Bethany Harvest Hills. A Memorial Service will be held at McDougall United Church, 8516 Athabasca Street S.E., Calgary, Alberta, on Monday, August 10, 2009
