May 21, 1940 - December 6, 2018

Peggy Hoops, age 78, beloved mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, nurse, and friend passed away peacefully, in the presence of her three daughters, at Southwood Hospice on Thursday, December 6, 2018, just four months after the heartbreak of losing her beloved Hal, her husband of fifty-four years. Mom lived her life according to her Christian faith, and set a good example for treating others with dignity, kindness, and respect. She was dearly loved and will be sorely missed. Peggy was predeceased on August 9, 2018 by her beloved husband Hal. She is survived by daughters, sons-in-law and cherished grandchildren, Heather and Bruce Brunette (Laura, Sarah, Matthew), Jenny Hoops and George Brindle (Oliver, William), and Debbie and Steve Barry; and brother Ted Campbell. We, her family, are grateful for the loving care and kindness given to mom at Southwood, and by her many good friends and neighbours who visited and called over the past few months. Your presence was appreciated. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY, on Thursday, December 13, 2018
