McDougall & Ogden United Celebrate Thanksgiving with Acadia Pantry

On Thanksgiving Sunday, October 9th - celebrate the Season of Creation by presenting your Harvest Thanksgiving Gifts at the Altar according to Deuteronomy 26. 11 “Then you, together…shall celebrate the bounty that Lord your God has given to you and to your house.”  As we close out this Season of Creation: Listening to the Voices on the Edge we are reminded to pay attention to the voices on the edge in Acadia.

On Thanksgiving Sunday, please bring non-perishable food supplies or cash donations to provide for fresh food and protein for the Acadia Pantry.

Acadia Pantry is held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at McDougall supported by the Acadia Community Network. You are encouraged to drop at noon hour Tuesday, October 18 to see the Pantry in action.

Volunteers are needed for set-up on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 10:30 am.  Show up on Tuesday, October 11th and see first-hand the work that goes into making the Acadia Pantry come alive!
