Life of the Church: Joy’s and Concerns (How it Works)

This church is more than a building, it is a community of people who celebrate and grieve together. To make it easier for us to share our news: good or bad, big or small, we are starting a monthly collection of news passed along by you.

How it works?

At the beginning of the month Sarah will start collecting news and posting it on the website, updating it through the month as updates come in. At the beginning of the next month, the blog will be shared as part of the email blast for those wanting to read about what happened among the church members this past month.

What news should be submitted?

Anything that you would like to share with the church. This can be big news or small. Some examples could be: Welcoming a new member of your family (human or fur baby), the loss of a relative, sports team winning a tournament, a health or medical update, mastering a new hobby, moving, doing your first 5 km run, your child loosing a tooth or anything else that you want to share.

How do you submit news?

Send an email to prayers@mcdunited.com letting us know you have some news for the Joy and Concerns.

Please be advised that posts will only include your first name and last initial.

What if I want updates more than once a month?

As mentioned above, the blog post will be started at the beginning of each month and then updated as news comes in. You will always be able to find the latest one under our blogs on the website. You can view October 2022 Joys and Concerns here.

We encourage you to send us a message saying hello and sharing something you are excited about this month.
