Acadia Pantry: April Numbers

Thanks to your generous support, we were able to directly impact the lives of 200 people this month! The Acadia Pantry happens monthly on the third Tuesday of the month from 12 - 12:45 pm providing food for those who need it. Thanks to your support, the Pantry provided 67 households with food to help them through the month.

All three Refugee families our churches work with received hampers plus food gift cards. Two families came from Morley and received the same. A large number of our clients come from Acadia Place and the CUPS worker there has begun to make deliveries to residents who are unable to attend in person.

During the month of April, the Pantry is asking for your financial help to continue offering essential food support to families in need. To make a one-time donation or to give monthly, go to www.mcdunited.com/donate. Donations may be made by credit card, e-Transfer, or cheque. For credit card donations, look for the Acadia Food Pantry name under “To,” and for cheques and e-Transfers write “Acadia Food Pantry” in the message/memo along with your name and address for tax receipt purposes.

If you would like to learn more about the Acadia Pantry please visit our webpage. To make a donation, you can do so here.
