2021-Q1. Pastoral Care Staff Report
Staff Quarterly Report for Rachel Nadon
The First Quarter of the year has been busy with pastoral care phone visits, pastoral care in-person visits, end of life visits, Sunday Morning Coffee Fellowship Zoom Gatherings, Youth Group Gatherings, Zoom Friendship Gatherings, staff meetings, adjusting to staffing changes, congregational meetings, funerals, Ash Wednesday Services, Good Friday Services, and Lenten and Easter Activities.
Outside of work I have also had interview and meetings with the United Church Candidacy Board, the United Church Office of Vocation, the two schools that I am enrolled in. In addition to these meetings, I have also been going for job interviews for new ministry positions, as my contract at McDougall is ending on June 30th, 2021. I have also completed 3 courses for my program at the Centre for Christian Studies and decided to differ my Graduation by a year so that I have extra time to complete my studies. Adjusting and adapting to the changes created by the COVID 19 pandemic caused my education and life plans to change, yet I know everything will happen during the time it was meant to happen.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
For everything there is a season,
A time for every activity under heaven.
A time to be born and a time to die.
A time to plant and a time to harvest.
Please see the Youth Group and Pastoral Care Reports for further details about the ministry work I have been involved in this quarter.
Many Blessings
Rachel Nadon
