Youth Group

McDougall's Youth Group, along with the youth groups from Northminster and Woodcliff United Churches will be participating in a Zoom session focusing on Healthy Relationships on Saturday, March 13th at 6:30 PM.

Our workshop will be facilitated by Tara Jorgensen from the University of Calgary Study Abroad Office who is also the Affirming Chair at McDougall United. Tara has a background in education around consent and bystander intervention. Through discussion, games, and video clips we will explore the qualities of healthy relationships and understanding consent.

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions – either anonymously through the chat or in discussion if they are comfortable. We look forward to the opportunity to explore and deepen our understanding of these important topics. All youth grade 6+ are welcome to attend.
