There is a youth led alternative worship service that happens monthly that I would like to introduce you too. They are a part of the St Andrew’s Regional Youth Ministry program.
An Evening of Silliness and Games
Please join us for an evening of Silliness and Games. Youth from Northminster UC and Woodcliff UC have been invited to join us for a night of games and silly activities together. I’m looking forward to seeing you all there!
The Empty Tomb - Youth Event

The Empty Tomb Saturday March 27, 2021 @6:30pm
Easter is just around the corner, so to mark the beginning of Holy week we are going to do some baking! Join us for an evening in the kitchen learning more about the Easter Story by making some Empty Tomb Rolls. We will be making the dough from scratch to create this fun easter treat.

Here are the ingredients you will need, please let me know before Friday March 24th if you need ingredients delivered to your home.
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons white sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons butter, softened (Optional) Additional Butter for greasing pan
¾ cup milk
1 egg
½ cup white sugar
½ cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 bag of Large Marshmallow
Healthy Relationships Session
McDougall's Youth Group, along with the youth groups from Northminster and Woodcliff United Churches will be participating in a Zoom session focusing on Healthy Relationships. Our workshop will be facilitated by Tara Jorgensen from the University of Calgary Study Abroad Office
Cooking in the kitchen!
Cooking in the kitchen! We are going to make dinner together over zoom! Youth group will be a touch earlier so we can make a marvellous meal together! Come and join us online from your kitchens on Saturday, February 27th from 5pm to 7:30pm to make dinner for your families! The Transfiguration
The Transfiguration; can you imagine what that would have been like for Jesus? The youth are invited to join us online to explore this story and play some games and other activities. Youth Group Christmas
Join us on zoom for a Christmas party online! We will be playing an assortment of Christmas Games, storytelling tales, and having a fun Christmas party online! I’m looking forward to seeing everyone!
In-person Youth Group
Growing in creation- with the changes in the seasons. Join us in person in the Hospitality Hall as we explore the creation story through video, conversation activities and games. Each game has been modified to ensure social distancing will be maintained while we move around playing games together.
