It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Lee Beattie on Thursday December 26, 2024 at the age of 78 years.

Sandra’s celebration of life service, is held on Tuesday, January 7, at 1 PM, at Annex Building (Beside Chief Jacob Bearspaw School), Foothills No. 31, Eden Valley

OBITUARY

Our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, sister in law, aunt, niece, cousin and friend Sandra Eloise Dale Dixon, made her journey to be with our creator at the age of 62 years old. Sandra was born on June 17, 1962 in High River, Alberta and passed away on December 26, 2024 in Calgary, Alberta. Sandra leaves to mourn her only sister Phyllis Dixon, her only sister in law Albina Lefthand, her brother Dale Brown, two daughters Bonnie Dixon, Lavinia (Steven S.) Dixon, two sons Jasper Dixon and Teddy Dixon. She also leaves behind her twelve grandchildren: Aaliyah, Lily, Freedom, Princess, Americus, Paris, Geneva, Marideth, Cassius, Cassian, Cassman and Feather. Her nieces: Natisha, Tammy, Dolly, Lynette (Pat), Pauline (Hirram), Rosie (Tyler) and Karen (Develin), her nephews: Steven, Shawn, Jordan (Ursula) and Arnold, and her cousin Myron Smalleyes. She leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and grandchildren.

Sandra leaves to mourn her extended family from Hobbema and Mînî Thnî, the Cutarms, Buffalos, Janviers, Curries, Roastings, Baptistes, Holloways, Riders, Chiniquays and Lefthands. Sorry if we have missed anyone. Sandra was predeceased by her father Alan Dixon, mother Sylvia Dixon nee Currie, sisters Virginia, Patsy, Shirley Dixon and brothers Arnold, Stuart and Wyatt Dixon, nieces: Shannon, Rachel, Elaine, Patricia, Wyalleen and Emma, nephews Tommy, Zachary, Stacy, Lennox and Blaine, grandkids Carly and Jasmine, and great grandson Marcus.
