Obituary

Elizabeth (Betty) Letal (nee Mason) of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023, at the age of 91 years. Betty is survived by four daughters, Linda Mader, Cathy Sherba, Eva (Greg) Chumik, and Cheryl (Albert) Cotterhill; six grandchildren, Andrea (JD) Scheller, Taryn (Randy) Peardon, Michael Sherba, Gillian Sherba, Leland Chumik, and Quinn Cotterhill; two great-granddaughters, Elizabeth Scheller and Katherine Scheller. Betty is also survived by four siblings, Robert Mason, twin sister Winnifred Hansen, Donald Mason and Marjorie Lane. Betty was predeceased by her husband Joseph and her parents Tommy and Jean Mason.

Funeral services and reception will be held at McDougall United Church (8516 Athabasca St SE Calgary AB) on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a charity of your choice.
