COOPER, Pat
February 6, 1936 - February 5, 2012

Patricia Anne Cooper (Murphy) passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 5, 2012, one day short of her 76th birthday. Pat spent her early years in Hanna, Alberta, later moving to Calgary and settled in the Fairview Community in 1957, where Pat and Bill first started their family. Pat had many interests, none more important than her many loving friends and family. Pat was also a long-time member of McDougall United Church and Fairview Community and made many friends through her dedicated administrative career. Pat will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Pat is survived by her cherished friend Don Wright; her three sons, Jim (Karoline), Tom (Carol) and Doug (Laurel). Nana will be greatly missed by grandchildren Karlee and Davis. Pat also leaves behind her brother Gary (Louise) Murphy, niece and nephew, Liz and Dave and many other cousins. Pat was predeceased by her husband Bill Cooper who passed away in 1994, her parents Ivan and Beatrice and her sister Donna who passed away when Pat was only four years old. A Celebration of Pat's life will be held at McDougall United Church (8516 Athabasca Street S.E., Calgary) on Monday, February 13, 2012 at 2:00 p.m.
