LeMESURIER, Helen Irene
(nee Eddie)

On February 4, 2014, Helen Irene LeMesurier passed away peacefully, with her children by her side, at the age of 102. Lovingly remembered by her daughter Carolyn (Gordon) MacLock of Spruce Grove and son Clive LeMesurier of Okotoks. She is also survived by her grandchildren Scott (Julia) MacLock, Kristen (Donovan) Blake, Jeff MacLock, Nicole (Chris) Baehl, Jannine (Luke) Wilson, Davee Sue LeMesurier, as well as 12 great-grandchildren. She is also fondly remembered by nieces and nephews in Canada, Australia, New Zealand and England, as well as dear friends Stella, Audrey, Joan and many other friends scattered throughout Calgary. She was predeceased by her husband Peveril LeMesurier, sister Viola Massey, parents Robert and Ellen Eddie. Helen lived a very full and active life and if she was not curling in the winter or golfing in the summer, then she could be found playing bridge. She loved travelling whenever and wherever she could and was always looking for a travelling companion; she loved family get-togethers and spending time with all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We take comfort in our memories, and knowing that she is watching over us. We are so thankful to all the staff at the Good Samaritan Care Center in Stony Plain for their care and compassion to Mom over the past year. They are truly an extension of the family, because they care. Cremation has taken place and a family memorial will take place in the summer.
