Grieving With Grace: Wednesday Session
A safe space for your hurting heart to treat itself gently, and find hope for the future
This group is intended for anyone who has experienced a significant death in their life.
Everyone grieves in different ways. All your thoughts and feelings are valid and have worth. In supporting one another, we can open ourselves up to a future that offers hope for healing.
If you are grieving a loss, and are looking for a safe and supportive community, there is space for you in the circle. You are never alone, and are always held by grace.
Join us weekly on Wednesdays at 10 am starting September 4th through until November 20. In order to ensure everyone is cared for in their particular situation, a brief, confidential intake survey of all participants is completed prior to the first meeting, in order to identify any specific needs or concerns that require attention. Space is limited. No new registrations will be added once the group has commenced.
Two different dates and times have been offered for this group (Tuesday at 6:30 pm or Wednesday at 10 am), please note that these dates are not interchangeable. Participants will be required to stay with the session they sign up for.
This takes place in the basement, a lift is available.
Please contact the office to register (403-252-1620) or office@mcdunited.com.
This Group will support your grieving by:

· showing you that you can trust, bond, and nurture both old and new connections with people in a world that often feels like it doesn’t care.
· providing a supportive environment that can reawaken your sense of abundant, whole-hearted living, and give you hope for healing.
You can expect to:
Meet with the same group of people for the entire group duration.

Receive all resources and supplies required at no cost to you.
You are asked to:

Be open to reading selected educational resources—approximately 20-25 pages weekly—in preparation for group discussions.
Be willing to engage in prompted journalling during the week.

Corinne Nairn
Corinne Nairn, the heart and hands behind Shamrock Organizing, approaches decluttering, downsizing, and organization as a compassionate guide, with a unique blend of compassionate care and theatrical flair.
Having grappled with disorganization and ADHD, Corinne intimately understands the emotional weight of clutter. Through her personal journey of reducing clutter and creating a more organized home, she realized the impact these changes made for not only herself but for her whole family, igniting her passion to share this with others.
With a formal background in theatre and nearly 20 years in ministry, enriched by roles in administration, event planning, and leading a thriving performing arts education program, Corinne brings creativity and empathy to her speaking and teaching engagements. Drawing from her theatrical experience, she infuses her presentations with energy, enthusiasm, and sometimes a little music, ensuring an interactive and memorable experience for participants.
Corinne's passion lies in helping others find peace amidst life's transitions. Whether sharing skills and strategies or by offering heartfelt encouragement, her goal remains the same: to empower others to identify what matters most and let go of the rest, while honoring the memories and validating the emotions that go hand-in-hand with this process.

Grieving With Grace
A safe space for your hurting heart to treat itself gently, and find hope for the future
This group is intended for anyone who has experienced a significant death in their life.
Everyone grieves in different ways. All your thoughts and feelings are valid and have worth. In supporting one another, we can open ourselves up to a future that offers hope for healing.
If you are grieving a loss, and are looking for a safe and supportive community, there is space for you in the circle. You are never alone, and are always held by grace.
Join us weekly on Tuesdays at 6 pm starting April 2 through until June 18. In order to ensure everyone is cared for in their particular situation, a brief, confidential intake survey of all participants is completed prior to the first meeting, in order to identify any specific needs or concerns that require attention. Space is limited. No new registrations will be added once the group has commenced.
Please contact Rev. Bill Weaver at ogdenminister@shaw.ca to register.
This Group will support your grieving by:
· introducing you to others who have had similar experiences, thoughts, and feelings.
· countering the sense of isolation and loneliness that many grieving people experience in our culture that avoids mourning.
· providing emotional, physical, and spiritual support in a safe, nonjudgmental environment.
· allowing you to explore your many thoughts and feelings about grief in a way that helps you be compassionate and kind to yourself.
· encouraging you to receive—and to give—mutual support, grace, and understanding to yourself and to others.
· offering opportunities to learn new ways of approaching problems.
Learn about key principles of the journey through grief.
Engage in open group discussion for mutual support.
Receive all resources and supplies required at no cost to you.
You are asked to:
Show up, prepared to join us in the circle.
Engage in the group discussion as much or as little as you feel comfortable.
Be open to reading selected educational resources—approximately 20-25 pages weekly—in preparation for group discussions.
Be willing to engage in prompted journalling during the week.
