Red Deer Lake: Story, not Storage: Celebrating the Journey While Lightening the Load Day 2

  • Red Deer Lake United Church 96187 Spruce Meadows Green Southwest Calgary, AB, T1S 2R9 Canada (map)

Are you or a loved one facing the daunting task of downsizing and decluttering? "Story, Not Storage" offers a guide to explore the timing and process of downsizing with grace and intention. Through a blend of practical tips and maybe a little theatrical flair, we'll transform the daunting task of decluttering into a celebration of life's rich tapestry. Join us for this session filled with stories, strategies, laughter, insights, and a newfound sense of freedom as we create space to honor the memories that truly matter while embracing a simpler lifestyle.

McDougall and Red Deer Lake United Churches are excited to collaborate with Corinne Nairn from Shamrock Organizing to bring you this learning opportunity.

Facilitator Bio – Corinne Nairn

Corinne Nairn

Corinne Nairn, the heart and hands behind Shamrock Organizing, approaches decluttering, downsizing, and organization as a compassionate guide, with a unique blend of compassionate care and theatrical flair.

Having grappled with disorganization and ADHD, Corinne intimately understands the emotional weight of clutter. Through her personal journey of reducing clutter and creating a more organized home, she realized the impact these changes made for not only herself but for her whole family, igniting her passion to share this with others.

With a formal background in theatre and nearly 20 years in ministry, enriched by roles in administration, event planning, and leading a thriving performing arts education program, Corinne brings creativity and empathy to her speaking and teaching engagements. Drawing from her theatrical experience, she infuses her presentations with energy, enthusiasm, and sometimes a little music, ensuring an interactive and memorable experience for participants.

Corinne's passion lies in helping others find peace amidst life's transitions. Whether sharing skills and strategies or by offering heartfelt encouragement, her goal remains the same: to empower others to identify what matters most and let go of the rest, while honoring the memories and validating the emotions that go hand-in-hand with this process.
