Food Drive: Providing Christmas Dinner for Local and Inter-City Indigenous Families

2nd Annual Christmas Food Drive

We need your help! We have 30 Indigenous Families that we are providing Christmas dinner for. All the items will be delivered to urban Indigenous in time for Christmas day.

Below is a list of what we are looking for:

  • Canned meat and fish, pasta sauce, crackers, cookies and pasta, rice, bean, canned fruit

  • Packaged or tetra pack juice, coffee, tea.

  • Toiletries, shampoo, lotion, toothpaste, toothbrush, brushes, combs, elastics.

  • Craft supplies, especially card stock.

  • New or Used, Kids Winter Clothing & Hoodies

  • Cash donations to purchase Turkey’s and fresh Food (please select “Right Relations” in the drop down menu)

Bring items to the service on the 19th and either leave them by the tipi set up in the Sanctuary or on one of the tables in the Fellowship Hall. We will have a meet and greet with Ashley Clearsky (indigenous actress) and Kyle Snow (drummer) in the Fellowship Hall following the service.

If you are not attending the service, we will have a drive by pick up from 12:30 - 2 pm (drive up to the main doors, open your trunk and we will come and grab the food).

Thank you so much in advance for your support!

If you have some time on Monday, December 20 we are looking for volunteers to bag and load everything up so that Tony and Gloria Snow can deliver the items in time for Christmas. If you can help, you can sign up under the Volunteer Opportunities
