Ash Wednesday Service

Join Joanne in the chapel February 22nd at 7 pm for a short Ash Wednesday service with imposition of ashes, followed by our first session on “The Ridiculous Journey: Following a Nobody from Nowhere.”

Lent is a period of 40 days (not including Sundays, which are always a celebration!) from Ash Wednesday through Holy Saturday.  40 days is the time Jesus is said to have been in the desert with the tempter, discerning his call and preparing for his ministry.  During Lent, we also are invited to journey towards a deeper understanding of our faith.  Join us on Ash Wednesday for a short service of ashes followed by the first session of our Lenten Study “The Ridiculous Journey: Following Nobody from Nowhere”.  We travel best when we travel together.

You can watch the rest of the 7 series of videos on Thursday afternoon over zoom or by joining Eat, Think, Play on Friday evenings.

Ash Wednesday fall on Pink Shirt Day. You are welcome to wear pink to this service.
