Spring Musical: “It’s Cool in the Furnace”

We are excited to announce that we will be putting on spring musical during the church service on Sunday, June 4, 2023. The musical is called “It’s Cool in the Furnace”. Fun fact, this play was performed at McDougall in the past so if the name sounds familiar that would likely be why. This is a simple musical where almost all the parts are singing (2 part chorus).  There is a funny role, Nebuchadnezzar, a narrator, and 3 “rappers” Shadrach, Meschach and Abednego. To support the main players we will be using anyone else who dreams of the stage. As in past shows, we will need sets, backdrops, actors and actresses, stage managers, etc. If you have any interest in playing a part in this production please contact the office. Rehearsals will be Sunday afternoons around 12:30 pm starting on April 16th and running each week until the performance on June 4.
