November News

  • McDougall’s Youth Group went to Youth Trek at the end of October. Learn more and see pictures here.

  • Wow, check out the pumpkin pictures that Jean M sent in. Here is a note from Jean: Pumpkins were carved by my son, Paul. The Gord Downie pumpkin was recognized by everyone who came by the house the year Gord died, just two weeks before Halloween. Paul was a fan.

  • Hello McDougall Community, I am so sad to hear about Ann’s passing. She was a lovely woman and a kind soul. One of my first friends at the church after moving to Calgary, she made a point to make sure that I knew I was welcome. I enjoyed seeing her week after week, and sometimes outside of church too. Ann was always there with a smile, a story and a hug. She will be missed, but I am comforted knowing that she is with her Mother again. Please pass along my thoughts to the congregation. You are all in my prayers. God Bless, Melanie M

  • On November 4 we welcomed 21 youth and 10 seniors to McDougall for the first meeting of our weekly Intergenerational Club. This is in partnership with Linkages and Lord Beaverbrook Highschool. We are so excited to have them! You can see a photo below of Youth Intern Nik Sloat looking on proudly as the groups complete an activity. Learn more about this great program.
