Join us to paint a canvas! Our Reconciliation Mural is a Community Participation Project funded by the Chinook Winds Region.

All ages and painting skills are welcome to paint a 1 foot square (30 cm square) canvas.  The result will be one large mural to be installed in the brightly lit southwest entrance of the church.

We have two painting days to choose from; Sunday, April 30th starting at 12:30 pm and then during our usual Open Table time on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 4 - 6 pm.

The painting sessions will include hearing the wisdom of an Indigenous Knowledge Keeper and Elder on their spiritual connections to land and animals. Indigenous and non-Indigenous painters are welcome. Delicious meals will be enjoyed together.
