2nd Annual Christmas Food Drive Thank You

Thank you so much for your generosity and support.   Our Second Annual Food Drive was a complete success with 28 hampers being made up as well as 10 boxes and bins of clothing.  Your $500 in cash donations added perishables to each of them.  They  were distributed to local and Inner City Indigenous people through the ministry of Gloria Snow, Teresa Snow and Tony.  Many of you met and were thanked for your donations by Ashley and Kyle Snow as they received your bags and placed them near the tipi.

Thanks you too to Aileen’s Kindergarten class.  The 25 small children in the class raised $300 and went shopping and purchased three large bins and filled them full with items on the list.  She says that the children learned about poverty and displayed great empathy for those that haven’t got enough.

Thanks Aileen for staying outside on a cold Sunday afternoon and accepting donations from the cars that drove by.  The support and friendship you have given to me and to the Right Relations Group has been so appreciated.

Finally, thank you to the 10 volunteers that signed up and showed up to sort food and clothing and fill bags the following Monday morning.  You are special!

Sincerely

Marilyn Agnew
