My first impression of McDougall was a beyond belief in the friendliness. I was met by a friendly family on my first visit and invited to sit with them. Then at the coffee time after the service, I was surrounded by members who invited me to various activities, the choir being one of them. One of the Ministers sat at my table and chatted for over half an hour. I felt very welcomed into a supportive community, as well as I felt I instantly belonged. Since that first day, two of my children have joined me at McDougall and they have said they feel very welcomed as well.
