Phil Edwards

I have been a member of the McDougall congregation since 1990 and always enjoy my time there: hearing good sermons, listening to wonderful music and meeting good friends (many that I met there), in a very nice but somewhat small building.  I joined the Foundation as a Director in 2009 and have been President since 2016.  I was particularly interested in being on the Board of Directors since I realized how important it had been for the Foundation to provide a convenient and tax saving means for congregants to financially support the building of the new sanctuary and I wanted to help ensure that the same means would be available to pay off the mortgage in a timely fashion (it was paid off in 2015).   I remained on the Board and became President since I realized how important it would be for the Foundation to continue to provide congregants a means to financially support projects, large and small, that would be necessary for the ongoing maintenance of the building and grounds at McDougall.
