THOMPSON, Glen Andrew

Glen Thompson, age 41, passed away on September 23, 2015 surrounded by his loved ones at home, after a courageous battle with cancer. Despite the challenges thrown his way he lived his life with grace, humility, honesty and humour. Glen celebrated others, made them smile with his chipper posts and witty banter. He will be remembered as a loving husband, doting father and caring friend. Glen worked as a graphic designer and had an artistic eye and also enjoyed photography. He was also an avid sports player (soccer, ultimate frisbee, rowing) and loved to travel. Glen is survived by his loving wife Natasha, daughter Evelyn (6), parents Robert and Anne, brother Rob (Jocelyn), parents-in-law Bob and Katie Mutlow, brother-in-law Sean (Llian), nephew Nathan and by numerous family and friends. A Celebration of Glen's Life will be held at McDougall United Church (8516 Athabasca St SE, Calgary) on Tuesday, September 29, 2015
