KEMPT, Robert (Bob) Leslie
February 14, 1927 – Ocean Falls, BC
April 20, 2016 – Calgary, AB

Bob, beloved husband of Doreen, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully in Calgary on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the age of 89. Bob will be deeply missed by his wife of 67 years; their children, Doug (Leona) Kempt, Lynn (Linda) Kempt, Laurie (Morey) Cowan, Lesley (Chuck) Young, Kevin (Tracey) Kempt, Leanne Kempt and Debra (Ardo) Bacchiega; 18 grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren. Bob is also survived by his sister Alison (Ron) Horwood; sister-in-law Carol Kempt; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Keith Kempt and son Jeffrey. Bob was employed at Burns Foods for over forty years and was very supportive of his children's and grandchildren's interests. He enjoyed cars, gardening, Calgary's western culture, and camping. Funeral services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, April 27, 2016.
