Vic Jones

JONES, Victor Thomas "Vic"
September 7, 1933 – December 28, 2015

Vic passed at the age of 82. He had a 37 year career at Trans Alta, and retired at 57. Vic was a talented and artistic man. His many talents included photography, playing piano (often with a grandchild or great-grandchild on his knee) and writing poems everyone loved. Vic is survived by his loving wife Doreen Jones; three children, Leslee Jones, Lori (Phil) Wilson, and Glenn (Jo-Ann) Jones; grandchildren, Kari (Trystan) McManus, Ryan (Shannon) Abramson, Kyle Abramson, Joni Meenagh, Patrick Meenagh, Kevin (Kat) Jones, Stephanie (Derrick) Jones, and Bradley Jones; great-grandchildren Terran, Dylan and Kailen, brother Doug (Pat) Jones, and sister Marilynn (Ed) Evans. The family wish to extend their sincere appreciation to the kind people at Southwood Hospice. A Gathering of family and friends will be held at McDougall United Church (8516 Athabasca Street S.E., Calgary, AB T2H 1S1) on Thursday, January 7, 2016
