Here is Elizabeth (Betty) Louise Welter’s obituary. Please accept Echovita’s sincere condolences.

We are sad to announce that on March 20, 2021, at the age of 87, Elizabeth (Betty) Louise Welter (Calgary, Alberta) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Arnold; her son David; and her grandchildren, Richard and Melissa. She is survived by : her children, Shirley and Ken (Sandy); her daughter-in-law Yvette; and her grandchildren, Lea-Anne, Robert, Sarah (Volker) and Emily (Joe). She is also survived by many relatives, neighbors and friends.

A funeral service was held on Friday, March 26th 2021 at 11:00 AM. Due to COVID restrictions, there will be a private family service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Betty's name to the Calgary Humane Society (SPCA), 4455 - 110 Avenue SE, Calgary, AB T2C 2T7.

It is with sadness that I send my heartfelt condolences to Betty’s family. She and Arnold were faithful members of McDougall and will be remembered for their kind and friendly way. I have fond memories of Betty arriving to help with a funeral reception only to bring with her a large tray of wonderful baking. How generous she was! May the memories she leaves with you be comforting in the days ahead.
