Friendship Club - cancelled

***** Update*****

Dear friends,

With all the snow forecast, and given the uncertainty of road conditions for Thursday, we have reluctantly decided to CANCEL our meeting for tomorrow, Thursday, March 21/24. Spring has come in like a lion, but we certainly need the moisture - white gold they're calling it.

We hope to see many of you at some of our Easter services, and want to extend to you all a Happy Easter!

Christmas Luncheon - Open to Friendship Club Members and invited guests only

Date: Thursday, December 14/23

Time: Punch, 12:30 pm; Lunch, 1:00 pm

Menu:

Punch

Roast Turkey

Stuffing

Gravy

Mashed Potatoes

Cranberry Sauce

Festive Salad

Buns

Fruit Tray

Christmas Baking supplied by members

Coffee/Tea

Cost: $15.00 per person

Tickets: Will be available at the Friendship Club meeting on Thursday, November 16/23. If you cannot make it to that meeting, let us know and we'll try to make other arrangements. Please note, there will not be another meeting after the November one and before the luncheon. The cutoff date for purchasing tickets is December 6.

Annual Christmas Lunch

McDougall and Ogden members are invited to the Annual Christmas Lunch

Date: Thursday, December 15, 22

Time: Punch - 12:30 pm, Lunch - 1:00 pm

Menu: Buffet style, hot, roast turkey; buns, cranberry sauce, mayo, dressing, tossed salad, fruit, punch, coffee and tea.

Dessert: Christmas baking provided by those attendees who would like to share their delicious homemade sweets with us all! A signup sheet will be available

Tickets: Will be for sale in the Hospitality Hall after church on Sundays in November and December, and at the November Friendship Club meeting. See Gord Degenhardt for tickets.

Cost: $10.00 cash.

Deadline to purchase tickets: Sunday, December 4, 2022.

Many volunteers will be needed to have the luncheon run smoothly, so, when purchasing your tickets, please consider signing the volunteer sheet to offer your services as you are able.

Friendship Club

We are excited that Rachel Nadon will be joining us so that we can celebrate her recent commissioning with the presentation of a gift.

Buffet luncheon with ham, turkey and beef croissant sandwiches; veggie tray; fruit tray; cookies; coffee and tea. Cost: $8/person.

Friendship Club

Time of fellowship in Hospitality Hall for any McDougall or Ogden folks who would like to attend.

We will again enjoy one another's company over cards and games.

Remember to bring your own beverage and any game or special card game that you'd like to play, or your crocheting or whatever! You can just join us for conversation too if you wish. Bring a friend as well if that is something you'd like to do. Everyone is welcome.

And there will be cookies!
