Join us for a weekly book study of Diana Butler Bass’s new book “Freeing Jesus” starting October 14, 2021 and running every Thursday until November 18, 2021.

Meetings will happen at McDougall United as well as online through Zoom starting at 7pm.

Each week a chapter of the book will be discussed. Then on Sunday the theme of the chapter will be used throughout the service.

October 14 - Chapter 1: Friend

October 21 - Chapter 2: Teacher

October 28 - Chapter 3: Savior

November 4 - Chapter 4: Lord

November 11 - Chapter 5: Way

November 18 - Chapter 6: Presence

Books can be purchased where ever books are sold (it is $33.50 for a hardcover copy at Chapters Indigo and $17.99 for a KOBO version). Please note that the softcover is for Pre-Order and will not be available in time. Alternatively, three copies have been purchased for the church and will be available to sign out for one night to read the weekly chapter.
