Ash Wednesday is the beginning of Lent.  It is a time when we remember our mortality, that we are dust – beautiful dust, but still, we are created from the Ashes of the Earth.  This year’s service will be a time of song, prayer, contemplation and reflection underscored with a hauntingly beautiful jazz ensemble.  It’s an opportunity to sit in our humanity and invite the sacred into our journey.
