Sunday School Update, Children’s Choir and Meet Nik

My name is Nik Sloat, I am a student from Ambrose University and I am happy to say that I am doing my internship at McDougall United. My role is primarily oriented around teenagers, both within the church and in our surrounding community. I will also be working with the younger children on Sunday mornings, as well as other events geared toward all age groups.

Which brings me to why I am sending you this email. As I’m sure you already know, Father’s Day is coming up and we are celebrating with a song performed by the kids on Sunday, June 19th during our regular worship service. We would love to have all your kids who are age 15 and younger come and sing to their dad(s).

During the two Sundays prior to Father’s Day (5th and 12th), we will be practicing the song during our regular time that we spend with them during the service. This celebration will also be the final Sunday School before summer break, resuming again on the 11th of September.

If you have any questions please reach out to either myself or Rev. Danah and we will be happy to provide any more information and answer your questions. I am looking forward to meeting all of you and building a strong youth community here at McDougall over the next several months.

Blessings,

Nik Sloat
