2021-Q1. Family Ministry Staff Lead Report
Aileen Berridge
It has been a tough start to the year as I try to navigate through the Covid restrictions, there has not much been happening with only 10 people allowed to gather outside and not much better for indoors.
-In February
· we had a drive through bottle drive on one of the coldest snowy days. With that being said we had a pretty good turn out with about total funds adding to $500:00.
· we had a drive through pancake supper keeping with our shrove Tuesday tradition. Pancakes, eggs and sausage were packed in a take home box along with syrup, butter and heating instructions all from the parking lot of cDougall. We had a good will offering, and the funds from the bottle drive covered the total cost of this event. We had a total of 125 people drive thru. We also had a fire pit where Joanne Anquist ,Bill Weaver and Rachel Nadon gave lent blessing. Donelle handed out craft bags to any kids that came.
I pray that we can have more events in the future,
Aileen
